Investing in Sustainability with Solar Panels

Share this blog:

At Tevema, we are constantly seeking ways to reduce our ecological footprint and strengthen our commitment to environmental protection. Recently, we took a significant step by installing 300 solar panels on our company building. This is part of our broader strategy to make our production processes more sustainable and to solidify our position as a leader in integrating technology with sustainability.

How Much Do We Save?

With the installation of 300 solar panels, we expect to achieve significant savings:

  • Energy Production: The solar panels are estimated to generate 90,000 kWh of electricity annually. This is enough to cover a large portion of our energy consumption.
  • Cost Savings: By generating our own solar energy, we can reduce our annual energy costs by approximately €18,000.
  • Environmental Savings: The solar panels will avoid approximately 45 tons of CO2 emissions each year, which is equivalent to planting around 2,250 trees.

Interesting Facts about Solar Energy

  • Long-Term Investment: The lifespan of solar panels is typically 25 to 30 years, meaning our investment will be beneficial in both the short and long term.
  • Low Maintenance: Solar panels require minimal maintenance, making them a cost-effective solution for sustainable energy production.
  • Clean Energy: Solar energy is one of the cleanest forms of energy production, with no harmful emissions during generation.
